n January 5, 2026, the Kansai Consular Corps attended the New Year Joint Celebration held at the Kobe Portopia Hotel. The event brought together a wide range of participants, including the Governor of Hyogo Prefecture, the Mayor of Kobe, and leaders from government, business, and various organizations, to celebrate the beginning of the new year.

During the ceremony, Mr. Lee Sangryol, Dean of the Kansai Consular Corps and Consul-General of the Republic of Korea in Kobe, delivered remarks highlighting the opening of Kobe Airport as a significant milestone for the city. He expressed his strong expectations for Kobe’s continued growth as an international city.

The Kansai Consular Corps will continue to strengthen cooperation with Kobe and the Kansai region, contributing to international exchange and regional vitality.

2026年1月5日、神戸ポートピアホテルにて開催された「令和8年 新年合同祝賀会」に、関西領事団が出席しました。本祝賀会には、兵庫県知事、神戸市長をはじめ、行政・経済界・各種団体の関係者が多数参加し、新年の門出を祝いました。

祝賀会において、関西領事団の団長で駐神戸大韓民国総領事の李 相烈 団長は挨拶に立ち、神戸空港の開港という新たな節目に触れながら、国際都市・神戸が今後さらに発展していくことへの期待を述べました。

関西領事団は今後も、神戸・関西地域との連携を深め、国際交流と地域の活性化に貢献してまいります。
